If you’re not sure what to do with yourself after the Stumptown ComicsFest convention hall closes, PGC3 member organizations are helping bring you the party. There are metric tons of cool geek events on the Stumptown ComicsFest calendar all weekend, but the splashiest bashes are on Saturday night:

[Stumptown Comicsfest After Party is] a full night of music, art, beer, and fun inspired by comics and the awesome people who love and make them! All attendees and guests with badges admitted to the party for free, open to the public for $5 Admission. Proceeds benefit Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, Independent Publishing Resource Center’s Dylan Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund and Stumptown Comics.
The party features the presentation of the Stumptown Comic Arts Awards, a rare live musical performance by Stumptown special guest Mike Allred and his band The Gear, and the annual Stumptown Comic Art Battle hosted by Paul Guinan! Plus beer by Ninkasi Brewery!

Second, geek burlesque makes its comeback just up the street at the Bossanova Ballroom, when Geeklesque Saves the World brings you a bevy of comics-inspired, tassel-twirling acts.
Assemble your team, light up the burly signal, and charge up your power ring! Critical Hit Burlesque invites you to celebrate comic book superheroes and comic strip classics with Geeklesque Saves the World! Saves the World is an all comics-themed show, with acts based around superheroes and comic adventurers of all sorts.
Presented at the Bossanova Ballroom, Saves the World will be a two show engagement, with performances starting at 7:30pm and 11:00pm on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Hosted by the Mad Marquis, Saves the World will feature a selection of new and familiar Geeklesque performers, including:
